Pre-K Videos

The following five players are playlists on Youtube. These videos cover concepts taught to children from ages 2-5, including:

ABC's
Counting
Shapes
Colors
Feelings (Ex. Frustrated, scared, happy, sad).
Spatial Concepts (Ex. in, over, under)
Days of the Week and Months of the Year
Basic Math (Ex. 1 gumball minus 1 gumball equals no gumballs)
Animals
Phonics
Reading Basic words (Ex. Book, bed, truck, tent).
Eating Healthy
Being Healthy (Ex. Brushing teeth)
Other concepts

Note: Instead of separating these concepts out into individual playlists, they have been arranged into random 'episodes' that are about 1 hour long each.  This is because children ages 2-5 generally have a short attention span and will not want to watch video after video of one subject, so they are intermixed.

You can of course create your own YouTube account and add these and other videos into your own personalized play lists for your children based on their individual needs.

My two year old loves each of these videos, but during my student teaching at a Christian school, I also saw similar videos and all of these concepts being shown and taught to children from 3 year old pre-school all the way up to age 6 in Kindergarten.

Also: It is possibly to connect most computers to a TV and use the TV as a secondary monitor.  When viewed directly from the you-tube website, these videos can be put full screen (great for switching over to the TV).  Best of all is that the kids will think they're getting a break from studying in order to watch cartoons, but in reality they'll be learning while having fun during their little 'breaks'.  Thanks to these videos my 2 year old can count to 12, say her ABC's, knows her colors and shapes, and tells me every morning that we can't skip breakfast because 'it's the most important meal of the day', among other concepts that she recites to me.

To get started, simply click play on one of the lists below.  It will automatically continue on to the next video in the list each time.

Note: Check back in the future for more playlists. I am constantly searching out and creating new playlists of learning videos for my daughter to watch, and they will be added here as they are made.
